There's a time and place for absurdist humor.

You wouldn't make the same jokes you make around your homies as you would your grandma, or small children, right?

There's also the... unfortunate fact that for some users, the post that resulted in suspension wouldn't be a 'joke' for them. There are some unsavory people, I'll leave it at that.
