Depp's surgeon was a lot more credible than Amber's guy because he had been given a more complete picture of the case. Amber's guy looked like a clown because of her lawyers. They legit embarrassed him and I hope he doesn't have career damage from this simply because he was provided only the evidence necessary to come to Amber's side's conclusion - which came out at cross. Not much else to say here.

Computer forensics guy (CFG from here on) did not look like he knew anything. The fact that these photos were saved through an editing program says that they were edited. I am open about photos that I've edited, and I would NEVER EVER edit something like a bruise onto a photo. These were clearly edited. And the Turds are basically saying "see? They weren't!" but like with the hand surgeon, they embarrassed the guy by not giving him all the info so he could present the mistruth they wanted him to. It's scummy. Did they not realize that cross-examinations would humiliate their witnesses because of their lack of providing proper information?

Is Dr. Hughes a quack? I mean, only quacks tout how qualified they are - it's showing off because they don't have anything other than the pieces of paper those qualifications are printed on. And only a quack would analyze Amber as an abuse victim. She's not a good witness here because, unlike Dr. Curry, she was rushed because of the Turds running low on time. She was also red in the face. It seemed like she knew she was wrong and was trying to save face. Which is why I relished in Wayne destroying her. Like... "go back to two years ago-" when the test says in the past year. Dr. Hughes didn't add anything to the Turds' case.

And having the harpy herself testify to close the show is... yikes. You DO realize that means Camille gets to scorch her again, right? Such a dumb idea. ("The Depp-Waldman Statements" line is SO bad now that we know Johnny had nothing to do with them.) The jury clearly isn't buying her changes of emotions and her looking at them constantly to try to own her moves. There's no way she can sway them. She's done. We didn't get a verdict yet because the jury probably dismissed Amber's counter-claim and then was discussing how much to give Johnny (that's where they probably disagree).

When she said "I'm not coming into this courtroom smiling. I'm not making snide jokes. I'm not." I could NOT hold back my laughter. We literally saw her smiling and making jokes with her lawyers numerous times. I hope the jury did too. She's turning on the tears and pretending she's human (that's a lie, too) to gain sympathy. She's acting like there's this huge trauma because one innocent lawyer called her on her bullshit and nobody cared. She whines about threats but she's caused so many setbacks for actual abuse victims by being an abuser who projects her misdeeds onto her victims. Total hypocrite. She actually DOES things instead of just threatening them! And then she says she NEVER LIED! I could not stop laughing. It's absolutely pathetic. I do hope the social workers take her baby away from her. That kid deserves a fair shot at life instead of being a ragdoll.

Even so, I am 100% Team Camille here. If there are 27 people who corroborate one story and one person who says they're all lying and can't prove anything... pretty clear on that one. Camille just put all the pieces of the puzzle together in the climactic showdown because Amber let her just by taking the witness stand again. And she damned herself by asking "What actual survivor of domestic violence wants that?" SHE JUST ADMITTED SHE'S NOT ONE! And she's panicking like CRAZY like the killer always does when Phoenix Wright catches them in their lies. I was legit hearing "Cornered" music in my head.as Camille amped up the carnage. This was awesome. Just. Plain. Awesome.

I love how Amber tried to explain metadata to the jury when her expert had just explained it two hours prior. That's another knock! Amber is really good at improvisational lying but is by no means a good actress. In other words: She can come up with the bullshit but not sell it. And because she's improvising it all, it's so easy to catch her in lies. WHAT A CLIMAX! Like... seriously.

Amber's changes of emotions, the cringey "Depp-Waldman Statements" moniker that is wholly false, the way she looks him in the eye but he can't look at her, her rudeness with objections and ditching court early, and that the liar can be either dozens of people OR just one person who's already been caught.... all that makes it pretty obvious. She is freaking mental. She is legit accusing a huge amount of people of perjury...while crumbling at her own lies being pointed out.

Needless to say, that breakdown was incredible, and I took great pleasure in Camille just OWNING her. But... this can't be good for Amber's mental health, can it? She's been caught lying but will refuse to accept a favorable verdict for Johnny. I doubt she will be get a higher court to hear an appeal. Once that happens, if she's charged with perjury - in whichever of Australia, the UK, or California gets to it first - it won't be pretty...

I will probably watch Amber's breakdown again tomorrow. Her own testimony damned her (one clueless talking head on the channel I'm watching this one said it helped her... what the hell was he watching?) in the best way possible. That certainly gave me the laughs I needed right now. She wants to be taken seriously... and because she can't admit ever doing wrong, nobody does.
