Reminds me of a story I read at the police museum here. Of an unarmed officer chasing armed robbers, jumping backyard fences Hollywood style and getting shot (twice I think?) and still getting the bad guy.
He was a real hero and deserved that badge. That's the standard I expect police to live up to.
Otherwise, we really do need a military regiment in every school. Since they are trained to run towards the gun fire and sacrifice themselves to save civilians if necessary.
so if teachers got paid more, it should be their jobs to take bullets?
