Eh, the two problems with that are there are a million junior devs trying to find non existent openings and people wildly underestimate the difficulty development.

If you are interested in a development route I would highly recommend you trying to learn to program stuff yourself immediately. It will quickly let you find out if it is what you want to do, and if it is then it will help you get hired as you will need projects. If you are really liking it then sign up for a boot camp
