I am married. My wife asked for a divorce three months in and still hasn't filed the paperwork nearly half a year after that.

I guess the lesson here is that when your partner of ten years cheats on you and then comes crawling back three weeks later, begging for a second chance and to "make things right," don't listen to them. They'll just continue doing all the shitty things they did before and all your friends will say it's your fault for letting her do it.

I'm never getting married again. Hell, I'm never dating again.
