S3 E14 - Prey

Zombies - Flammable but just lighting one on fire isn't a guarantee for total immolation.

Starts with a flashback to Michonne and Andrea. Talking about the 2 zombies they had with them. They apparently deserved it and weren't human to begin with.

Very interesting. Going back to my theory she is a special agent or some sort of law enforcement, I'm guessing they were perps (pedos or kid killers or something) that Michonne was transporting as the virus spread, turned in her custody and after observing a few zombies took their arms, jaw and teeth.

Rest of the episode is Woodbury centric, minus the part of Andrea just about making it to the prison. Governor is setting up a torture chamber, Andrea has him in her sights but Milton doesn't let her shoot. Andrea finally wises up on the Governor, decides she is going to leave. Tries to trick Tyrese and Shasha but they see through her but let her leave anyways. This leads to episode long chase of Andrea which I think was done really poorly. If I had been writing that, the truck driving by the field would have been closest I let the Gov get to her until he tackles her at the very end. I'm not sure but when they were in the warehouse, that seemed like Terminator music when Sarah was being stalked by the terminator.

We also learned Tyrese is a bad shot but Sasha is a good one, and that Allen and Ben aren't really all that trustworthy and are turn coats.

Milton is the one setting the walkers / biters on fire, not sure why Tyrese took the blame? Maybe he figured no one would believe him?

Overall I feel like they have done Andrea's character dirty this season. Season 1 and 2 I figured her loyalties were to herself after Amy died, just keeping herself safe. The problem is this season it feels like they have taken too much agency from her. My guess is they didn't want her to look evil, but when you only make decisions in ignorance it sort of takes a lot of weight away from that.

6/10. I might be a bit hard on this one, I often like chase movies / episodes, this one just didn't work for me.
