| SF_Okami 05/15/22 4:04:41 PM #32: | I had a retail job in high school I loved actually. Sneaker shop. We had cheap options and the good stuff. The benefit was my manager gave me freedom to say pretty much everything and anything to customers and I knew what I was talking about. Customers sometimes came in and said they want something cheap and comfortable. I told them its one or the other, impossible for it to be both. About 75% of the time I got them to try on a pair for 200 bucks and they bought them. Also I would flat out insult the customers, but in a friendly way. If they came in with sneakers from years ago, I would tell them to stop living in the past and get with the program.
