I don't HATE D3 but man it wears me down so fucking fast. Farm keys, run GRs, level gems.... legendaries everywhere. I love that D2 lets you kinda do whatever the fuck you want. I can target specific things I feel like running at the time. That's why I've played it for like 20 years. You just don't really ever beat it. Especially now they got new builds out and new runewords. If I had to play one game for the rest of my life, hands down easy choice would be Diablo 2 with the expansion.

I mean yeah it wears on me too. I definitely don't play it like I used to. I was gonna skip this season but a stoner acquaintance-buddy that lives up the street from me plays it and he was hyping up this season when I was talking to him on the way back from the liquor store so I was like "fuck it I'll give it a try"

I will probably be done again in like a week and then not pick it up for months if not longer. That's my pattern with it these days.

I do like D2R also but dying pisses me off enough to not be able to get into it the way I was 20 years ago.
