But when I try not to drink I have a huge increase in my appetite. And I'm completely aware of the reason. I'm used to consuming the daily calories of food + alcohol. Now my body is wanting me to eat more to compensate for the lack of alcohol calories. Also probably an oral fixation situation. FigureOfSpeech posted... Harpie uses the term "shot" to describe partaking in it so I started saying "Harpie shots" to also describe it while differentiating from alcohol and it sort of caught on a little bit.
