You need to measure yourself at regular intervals at consistently the same time of day assuming your lifestyle and eating habits are equally as consistent. With this data you should be tracking trends and not comparing the number to yesterdays number.

If possible also take measurements of waistline if you have a measuring tape if you're tracking weight loss.
