So maybe I am looking back with rose tinted glasses or whatever, but the Terrible Twos, to my memory, werent as bad as the current Four. >_> I mean in some ways its nice that my daughter is more conversational and independent etc, but my goodness she gets more stubborn and rebels against authority more every day. This was my experience as well. We thought we dodged a bullet because 2 years old was completely fine. But nope, instead we got terrible 4. He's fine now.
