Obnoxious muzzle flash. Half the time it looks like theyre shooting beam rifles.
Villains being dumb so the good guys can deal with them, in general. A few specifics (but there are so many more):
- Organized Criminals in the US not having guns
- Having guns but fighting hand-to-hand anyway (Fuck you, Wild Wild West)
- Capturing the good guy instead of killing them, especially when theres no reason to not kill them and/or theyve shown no qualms about killing others on the good guys team.
- Fighting one-by-one instead of ganging up on the hero.
- Setting a timer on a bomb when the intent is terrorism
Obnoxious product placement: I dont mean Coke-can-facing-out. I mean the Sonic the Hedgehog Olive Garden scene or the Uncharted Papa Johns one, or all of Man of Steel.
