Should we go back to the days of Don't Ask Don't tell? The days when the Rodney King Riots were still fresh, and the idea of 'black lives matter' wouldn't even be in its infancy? Progress means that the world will naturally move with it. I'd argue insanity isn't moving with the world. It's clinging to the past, in hopes of maintaining what you consider 'normal'. Our system of morality is evolving. As it should. The human race is growing. And before you go "I'm not a racist! I'm not a homophobe!" I'm not saying you are. I'm reminding you of where we were three decades ago, versus where we are now, and why we are no longer the party of Bill Clinton. Progress. And if anything I'd say we've deified our founding fathers to an extent that's not healthy.
