I have a slight sensitivity to bright light (like the sun) now, but when I can literally just throw on any pair of non-prescription sunglasses its not even an issue. The actual procedure is stupidly easy, at my place they give you 3 Valium, one for the night before, one for the day of, and one the night of. I didnt even have to use the 3rd one, after the procedure I took an hour long nap and was fully recovered, it was like magic.
