but Yamato is a girl according to official materials.Maybe you're reading too fast but she has said probably a dozen times that she wants to go out to sea. She met Ace and bonded with him, and promised to leave Wano with him when he returns... and just so happens right now the person that inherited Ace's will is in Wano with a ship and crew heading out to sea in a bit. She even literally told Luffy to let her sail with him >_>If we're being literal with parallels, Yamato is going to take on Oden's role on Luffy's journey just like Oden was with Roger for the last part of his journey.
