If you are a visual novel person, then you would play the original game. Just know Fate zero spoils some aspects of the Heavens Feel movies. But if you don't want to go hard on the series, just watch Zero.I'll be reading the LN instead of watching, but otherwise I'll do as you say and start Zero.
