Boss does sound pretty cheap, but that's what I've come to expect from basically every dark souls boss at this point. There's always some move that takes away 80% or more of your health, and stunlocks you enough to get hit by the next one. I'm not up to this boss yet but after 60 hours of play none of the bosses have really been like that.
