I didnt realise that the franchise had been gone for so long, or that it was such a shift back to horror from apparently effectively being a comedy for a while. plasmabeam posted... It was my first Chucky movie back when I watched it in 2017. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and I generally dislike slasher films. Oh it was nothing against the film, I was just surprised to see it over more notable films. It would have been nice to see some Mike Flanagan here, each of his films are worthy of inclusion.
