I used to work upgrading the computer systems at hotels and one of our requirements is we HAD to have a room available for testing. You know, to test the phone system, the environmental controls, the pay-per-view system, billing, and the like, make sure that everything still worked after we left. More than once I'd get there and "Oh yeah, we're booked solid, we don't have any rooms available" and I'd be like "OK, here's the interface testing checklist, I'm just gonna mark N/A for everything and write down that no rooms were available for testing. You're on your own at this point."
