As I understand it - with my very, very limited insight as an elder internet shitgoblin - it boils out to proper support for music projects, contacts, resources, marketing and whatnot. Instead of the out-of-pocket by-commission affair it's been up until now.

How that pans out in regards to scheduling and whatnot? No idea. Does probably mean that we're going to see -at least one- instance of Calli getting blown up for her own music at some point because youtube is a small indie company, though.

This also scans out with the vagueness in regards to Unalive MVs and the "this'll be the last one like this for awhile" comment - Somewhat less room to experiment and whatever's going to be made for the remaining songs are probably going to be done through UMG's resources, possibly.
