As in striving for realism yet seem off somehow, but too close to it so as to no longer qualify as an artistic style. It certainly has a "shimmering" effect for some folk. For me personally I didn't have this issue although on resolution mode the FPS looked a bit rough at first for me. I tried performance mode and that ran well but the graphics take a big hit so I just stick with resolution mode. The game is a good looking game no doubt about it though. Also people don't like the writing for Alloy. I've not completed it yet but I find Alloy to have a bit more personality in this one.
