I seriously was thinking of Mortal Kombat Annihilation while watching it moreso than anything-- that's not hyperbole to drive home my distaste for the movie as much as the only movie I recall watching that made me feel so bored by action sequences Even as someone who found it to be like a 6 on a 1-10 scale I get this reaction. I did really like the actors (particularly Pugh and Harbour) and the feminist themes but the story is REALLY weak. That being said I tried watching MauLer's rage video and quit pretty quickly out of disgust with how much he seemed to mangle the film's plot. He went on a rant about how Natasha can possibly get mail even though I thought the movie made it pretty clear how she could. I think he was just using the film as a vector to attack Phase 4 as a whole.
