Only other way I could see is swapping Turbans with a stable run by Dong Zhuo with Lu Bu in it. And then making the Turban leader whose name escapes me unaligned instead. Currently I imagine Yuan Shao and Dong Zhuo as rivals trying to create their own stables and being confused why everyone doesn't want to join them.
