i like them

i think they're extremely good for what their intended purpose is, which is a blockbuster action packed experience.

objectively they are not good movies, not by a long shot. but it's the same reason behind the michael bay transformer movies. they're just mindless action fun, and that's what i think a lot of people have wanted for the past several years since, because there's no subtext with any substance in the movies, they're easy to just follow along generally even if you don't know anything about the characters

you can just turn your brain off for a few hours
