The actual shift in starter design is since Gen 6 the final forms each have a conceptual theme beyond just being <element> <animal>. like Emboar stands up, but theres not much more going on with him other than being a big fire pig. After that, you get a mage, a wrestler, and a soccer player. so even if the little cat grows up to walk on four legs still, I assume its going to be something other than just a big grass cat. --- For your Azuarc .
