Of course its not going to have the same charm as the original. Its not trying to. its trying to create its own. It just happens to use the name of characters we recognize. Some of y'all are reading too deep into this being a "reboot"...its a retelling. Honestly, most these posts in this topic read as shamelessly close minded. Then the ones shamelessly admitting they're gonna let others think for them and form their opinion on that. Which, Im sure they'll then push it anytime someone who actually watches it says it's not bad.
