Time for some venting. Mario Odyssey has a moon within a 2D section where you land on a circular platform. The problem is that the controls become shit on the platform. For example, if Mario's face is pointing to the top of the screen, you move the joystick up to make him move. Why couldn't they program it to be either left or right only? On top of that, the gimmick of the section is to stay within a moving background panel, because if you touch the 3D background, you revert to 3D Mario and fall off the level. You get no real time to figure out the janky platform controls. Oh, and if you do die, you have to redo the long segment before the circle platforms.
