I mean, for fucks sake, yeah, sometimes it takes a crisis to cause people to reflect and reevaluate their strongly held opinions. A lot of people dont ever even get to that point. Hell, Im willing to bet some of you whiners would be super reluctant to change or at least compromise some of your own views to try and make peace.

Speaking for myself, the panels make me upset, but I'm not upset at like... the writer or anything. I'm just upset for the characters and how well this depicts these situations where it comes to abuse.

In fact, I think the writer and artist did a very good job of depicting the abuse that can come from these situations. That doesn't mean I can't be upset at the situation, because I believe it is a depiction that feels real and true to life. Like I feel it's good to have an emotional response to this.

And same to the later panels. The situation as a whole is left ambiguous but it can be read many ways, as I stated.

And not for nothing, but this whole "I bet you guys are bad people too" is just... childish.
