What he did while he was alive doesn't really matter. He died and a summoner wasn't around to perform The Sending to guide his spirit to the farplane. So he remained in the world of the living and his strong hatred and resentment for Yevon turned him into a fiend.
Sure I'm not arguing that Lulu should have
brought Omega Weapon back to Bevelle so they could show Shelinda what they really think about the art of anthropology.I'm just saying it's interesting to think about what he did when he was a man and the realization that he might have actually been a good guy. He might have been trying to do what Yuna tried to do and reveal the cycle of death and false hope Yevon brought to Spira once he found out the truth.Maybe if Yuna was exiled to a fucking dank cave, Tidus/Wakka/Auron/Kimarhi/Lulu and the other one were killed, then she witnessed centuries of more people dying from Sin, her rage and despair at Yevon would have turned her into a monster too.
