Until now, audiences have only seen on-screen the story of the One Ring but before there was one, there were many... and were excited to share the epic story of them all. This sounds like a LOT if they are trying to cram it into one season, there is about 2,000 years from the forging of the Rings to the Last Alliance of Elves and Men. Is this going to be like an anthology series, where each episode covers something new? Or a complete rewrite of the Second Age to cram everything into the same time period? The fact that it is TV-14 though at least means they aren't trying to copy GOT completely by turning the violence, language, and nudity up to 11, which would be really awkward in the Tolkien universe imo --- Hello world! ...
