I'm not sure what it is about Dallas... Maybe the spectacle of being a Dallas Cowboy is too much, but the Cowboys are not at all a disciplined team. They haven't been for a long time. On paper, the Cowboys should be a Superbowl team. However, what we see over and over in big games:

Dallas makes great play on offense in crucial situation

• Holding penalty negates it

Dallas makes great play on defense

• Offsides/Holding/Pass interference/Hands to the face penalty negates it

Dallas needs to make a big play to come back and they either:

• Commit penalties that set them back
• Make a bonehead play like Romo fumbling the ball when he's just holding for an extra point. Or Dak running the ball down the middle with seconds left on the clock.

Meanwhile, the Tampa Bay Bradys can routinely do 10, 12, 15 play drives without too much of a problem at all.

During the game against the 49ers last weekend, we saw a ton of that crap. Successful fake punt. Delay of game penalty. Big stop on 3rd down. Offsides or hands to the face gave the 49ers a 1st down.
