If they could have made the hardware comparable to PS4 and Xbox One for example that would have helped a lot. But this might not have been possible due to the Gamepad and Wii backwards compatibility. Wii U is probably a consequence of many mistakes made over many years they couldn't course correct. In saying that there's still some minor things I don't get. Gamecube Virtual Console should have been a no brainer and that's assuming that it was actually impossible for them to implement a disc drive that could support Gamecube discs. The Wii U Gamepad natively supporting Wii games with classic controller support and Gamecube games should have been there day one instead of their weird insistence that controllers can never be emulated on older games. --- A Fallen Mascot ...
