Topic	January Game of the Month Club ft. Telltale Batman, DOOM II, and Hitman 2 (2018)
MetalmindStats 01/17/22 3:27:23 AM #27:	I finally started DOOM II, beating Levels 1-7. The change away from an episodic structure is certainly interesting. The way I tend to play, it means I'll have to consciously let myself restart from scratch upon death sometimes, as indeed I already have. Otherwise, diminishing returns were inevitable, and this batch of levels generally felt samey, but the DOOM formula still holds up. I'll also use the first of my nominations on Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney right now, since we've apparently never had any Ace Attorney games for GotM?
