I have a cousin that came out and my family didn't abandon him. And they didn't abandon me when I wasn't sticking to religion. I wasn't speaking against it either tho. I had no reason to, since no one was treating me like an outsider. they did not cut me off when i came out cuz i had already quit and kicked out by that point, but they told me they wouldnt come to my wedding lol ok. from a young age you learn men lying with men are a sin, u can inagine how toxic that is. the cutting off does happen regularly , its crazy. the biggest problem i have based on my experience of this specitic religion, is the mind control. before i cut my blood relatives off, we had conversations about it and they wouldnt admit the manipulation happening --- I'm feeling myself, I'm feeling myself, I'm feeling my feeling my' ...
