| colliding 01/15/22 11:35:19 AM #171: | I played Ys IX on the Switch, because it was on sale. The performance issues there were far from minor. Maybe that's on me for playing it on the inferior console, but also, I played Ys VIII on there and had no issues. To be more specific, the horde battles/tower defense sections are extremely busted from a challenge standpoint. Combat is never hard, but I did find the camera/auto-aim system extremely difficult to manage, which ended with my tower being destroyed in literally one or two attacks (on hard). Also I just didn't buy the aesthetic. Liked the movement options but I think it's ultimately a failed experiment. --- while you slept, the world changed ... Copied to Clipboard! |
