So is this a final decision? Or is this still playing out in lower courts, because last week we had to make a list of who was vaccinated in my workplace to make a "good faith effort" to comply and when my boss and I were looking it up it appeared this was an appeal the Biden administration did asking the supreme court to end injunctions of lower courts while those cases were still running their course. I don't have the legalese knowledge to tell exactly what this decision means.

Just to be clear here at no point did I ever think the supreme court, the current one anyways, would give this the ok I'm just curious what is left of this fiasco because it was pretty annoying having to explain to our employees what the robocalls and text messages they were getting from our employer were about.

Its from the US Supreme Court which is as high as it can get. Im 100% pro vax and everything behind it but its definitely an overreach of govnt to require this from employers. Its private sector, let idiots be idiots if they must.

That being said there should be something in place requiring paid sick leave if your company doesnt have a vax requirement and someone tests positive. But there should be mandatory paid sick leave across the board in this country anyway.
