Ah, still hunting. I actually found a shiny Ponyta on the map, but I am trying to hatch a shining Magby right now. I got totally screwed in Sword and Shield because I hatched like a million eggs, but never got a shiny. I got dozens in Lets Go, though.

Nice! Shiny Ponyta was my very first shiny ever. I got it before I knew shiny was a thing. I remember showing my sister and we were both confused by its color. I thought it was a glitch.

Funny story I have with egg hatching. I was trying to get a perfect Froakie during X/Y. Ended up getting a non perfect shiny one (non perfect as in 0 in sp. atk. and max stats in every other stat) but I still have it and plan on using it some day.
