| Topic | Do you like watching the winter olympics more or the summer olympics? |
| wpot 01/13/22 4:50:54 PM #21: | Yeah, I dunno. I used to enjoy the Olympics, although I can't really say why in retrospect. It used to seem somewhat patriotic, I guess, which was fun back in the day. Now...I'm not sure what the point in being good at any of these sports is in the first place, and I don't know why I should care about some people who are good at them who happen to be from my country. And they only show the sports the US is good at. And swimming (one of those sports) is the most boring sport in the world to watch. And judged sports are generally lame across the board. And synchronized anything isn't a real sport (anyone ever see anyone dive in a synchronized fashion for fun)? More power to those who have a passion for those things, but the fact that some of them are from my country is no longer much motivation to watch. --- Pronounced "Whup-pot". Say it. Use it. ...
