While it does have an interesting take on the Saiyan heritage, it's not at all explored enough to really feel like anything more than a novelty. God is more basic, but it at least has more of a lore explanation and fits into the overall direction of the plot.How much more was there to explain about SSJ4? It was them combining Oozaru with SSJ. Call back to the OG dragonball and fits into lore thats already established. God was some shit about friendship or love or something. They literally used a fetus to achieve it at first. Then Vegeta just trained really hard. Then they just like, decided "Imma gonna go SSJ while I'm in God mode".
