I finally completed the entire Pokdex in BDSP! It required me to catch like 500 Pokmon. What was the hard part? Mostly the fact that the trade community is virtually nonexistent, especially compared to Sword and Shield.

Many of them required me to do ridiculous things, such as cover trees in honey and shake them (once every six hours) and then get 5% odds. Probably a dozen required the friendship status to increase. One was Feebas (if youve ever caught that one, you know why this is tough). Then I had to evolve it out by baking cakes to increase its Beauty. There were probably 25+ legendaries and I still have my master ball.

Then there were swarm/outbreak Pokmon. Every day, ONE was randomly selected as your choice for the day and there were probably six or seven that could only be found this way. Same with the trophy garden. Once again, the community was pretty much dead from the start and the developers were sure to patch out any and every exploit that you could use to circumvent their ridiculous requirements (if you change the time on your switch to get daily events to hurry along, they would punish you by freezing it for like two days).

I didnt hack the game. Pokmon Home is STILL not out, so I couldnt even trade things to myself. Then there was the fiasco of multiple articles claiming you only needed 150 to get the shiny charm! Almost 350 later, I finally got it. Time to shiny hunt with the Masuda Method (breeding with my Japanese Ditto). This brings odds down from roughly 1/4,000 to 1/500.
