I was ready to walk away from the game feeling a bit disappointed, as there were a few glaring flaws. The repeat playthroughs felt more than a little forced - I think the developers could have conveyed some of those same thoughts without forcing us to re-tread so much of the same game. The main plot kinda devolved into gibberish that I didn't care to truly understand. 9S and his hacking gimmick were annoying.

Still, the game triumphantly won me back into its corner at the final hour. Never before did fucking post-game text prompts put tears in my eyes, and as soon as I felt that emotion, I knew immediately what I had to do.

So yeah, I did the thing. I gave up my save data and don't feel the slightest tinge of regret.
