Biggest red flag in my experience is when someone says they're a dog parent instead of saying, "I own a dog" or "I'm a dog owner" or even "I'm a dog person/dog lover". It's shorthand that translates to "I love my dog more than most people, and will do nothing to improve other people's experience with my dog, because my dog can do no wrong".To be fair, animals: -Don't discriminate -Don't destroy their own planet -Don't believe in gods even though there's no proof gods are real -Etc --- As an LGBT+ person, it annoys me when people assume all characters are straight.
