56. Peach Boy Riverside

Okay, so I guess we are not starting straight off with a hot take. Because I'm pretty sure everyone knows this show is bad, and not in the "good way". The show is like ALMOST okay but the dumb Haruhi-esque way the episodes are shown (at the request of the creator btw) mixed with character with questionable motivations and just a complete lack of the feeling anything really meaningful happened.

55. Tokyo Revengers
https://anilist.co/anime/120120/Tokyo-Revengers/

So, Tokyo Revengers creator said he took inspiration from things like Steins;Gate and Re:zero. It's very clear based on main crutch of the show that this is the case. But the creator doesn't understand that the time travel type element was not what made those shows good. Tokyo Revengers is a show where it just feels like the author wrote himself into a corner without reasonable ways to tie up story lines and uses the gimmick just to move things along without real considerations for the characters.

The characters like just don't change at all. Any changes are almost solely because of the changes due to time line manipulation so any growth is just not natural. Takemichi who is the only constant character in the series does just about nothing. He is often seen literally wandering around in the middle of fights looking desperate. All he is is a vehicle for the viewer to experience the story through and not someone that drives any bit of it.

54. The Faraway Paladin
https://anilist.co/anime/132473/The-Faraway-Paladin/

This is a show that started off pretty promising. It's basically a D&D adventure in anime form following a "Paladin" through his adventure. The biggest problem is that the show is very shallow in terms of its characters, story, and even the world building starts faltering in the second half. I guess problems would be more apt.
