Just a soft classy little piece of music that perfectly fits the White House setting. Video: 8/10. I love the style of this opening. Mixing show clips with black and white documentary/history book style photos and clips all over a US flag background. Brilliant. It doesn't show the humor or pace of the show but it works so well and I don't think they were trying to match it to the show as much as set up the White House/This is where history is made setting. It loses a point because the waving flag can be a bit too distracting at times and by the end I wish it waved less or was just a ripple. Also if you aren't already into it like me it would be very boring. Does it make me want to watch it? 2/5. A little bit. It really brings back some nostalgia and makes me want to watch a few of my favorite episodes. That said I don't think just watching the opening without being a fan would really make anyone want to watch unless they just love the setting. Maniac Factor: +2. I'm a fan of the show and its from an early season which were the best. This was a show I would watch with my family which was always fun.
