I'm guessing this is the case because so far it's actually not bad. Not great by any means, super meandering, but alright. The biggest issue so far is the massive eyeroll with his dad. Also kind of bizarre that May is talking about taking nursing classes as a negative and trying to keep it a secret when the alternative is working double shifts as a waitress.

I think I have reached the point of being old now though because I mostly just want to slap Gwen and tell her that she obviously should not be giving up a prestigious scholarship to Oxford to be with her high school boyfriend.
