It feels like a genre that got a lot of play in the 70s and then vanished entirely. If the genre transitioned to anything over the decades that would probably be news to me. soul never completely disappeared and it's actually pretty big in mainstream music right now, with adele being as popular as she is. it is true that it kind of vanished from mainstream music for awhile but it made a comeback at some point, though i'm not sure exactly when. maybe anastacia should get credited for bringing it back into the mainstream? --- Geothermal terpsichorean ejectamenta ...
