After the success of last season's contest, we return with a brand new year of hope and joy for the waifus. Will our reigning champion take home a second straight crown, or will a new hopeful arise to best her and become queen of all waifus? It all starts right here, right now.

THE RULES:

- You can save 1 characters per hour.
- A character needs 6 votes to be saved.
- 6 unique users need to save a character for that character to be saved.
- Ambiguous (i.e. "Sakura" or "Claire") saves will not count. If you're using a nickname for a character that isn't obvious, please specify for my benefit moving forward.
- Last 1 characters unsaved are eliminated. Their placements will be determined by a poll at the start of the next round.
- No alts, no rallying, no post deletion/editing (unless correcting an update), no spoiler tags.
- You may trade saves, but only for other saves within the content of this contest.
- I will try to keep an accurate update. If you want to update, make sure it's accurate.
- Only Inviso can start up new topics.
- If a post of yours causes an accidental lawyering, you will receive a warning for the first offense, and increasing punishments with each, subsequent offense.
- You will have exactly one hour after the final save is made to discover a lawyering. If one is not found in that time, the result will stand, even if a lawyering exists.
- Community Rule is in effect. Deliberate rules violations will result in bans.
