Wondering if I made a mistake by going all-in on VTI in my brokerage. Bought a small amount of that, SPY, and FXAIX in my Roth at the beginning of August, and VTI is firmly in last. +5.32% over that span vs. 7.18% for FXAIX and +7.5% for SPY. Figured it wouldn't make too much of a difference and it probably won't in the end, but I'm beginning to think SPY was the better option. Though the bigger regret was DCA instead of just dumping everything in at once early. My misguided belief that I could 'time the market' or w/e just didn't really happen and I ended up losing out because of it.
