It may not be everyone that gets grouped together, but you're pretty unhinged if you think it's not a very leftist trait to strip the humanity from anyone who commits [pick your wrongthink of the day] and then justify it by "THIS PERSON DOESN'T THINK I DESERVE RIGHTS SO yada yada." I'm just gonna say this: if the left (whatever definition that means) ACTUALLY did this en masse, and had that mindset be mainstream, then the Democratic Party wouldn't struggle to win elections all the goddamn time. But instead, people across the leftwing spectrum constantly find reasons to defend those on the right for one reason or another, targeting each other as the "real" problem. I would LOVE if the left was as unreasonably extremist as the right paints them, because that would mean the left might actually accomplish something, and it would at least feel like a balance to the unreasonable extremism that DOES accomplish its goals on the right. --- Touch fuzzy.
