Welcome to the FINALS! Both of our previous contest winners were dethroned in the semifinals. That means we will have a new champion to join them in the Board 8 pantheon of Disney songs. All thats left to decide is which song will it be?

Day 19 Results:

(5) A Whole New World (Aladdin) vs (2) I'll Make A Man Out of You (Mulan)19-17
Eddie Murphy is pretty great as Mushu but we missed out on his singing. There was a song called Keep Em Guessing that Mushu was supposed to sing where he shows Mulan how to be a man. Murphy refused to sing the song, and the producers ended up creating three different versions of the song in an attempt to get Murphys approval. However, it wasnt anything about the song that Murphy didnt like. He just didnt want to sing on screen. While he avoided having his own song, Murphy still ended up singing one line of music in the movie when he sang "This guy's got 'em scared to death" during Ill Make a Man Out of You.

(11) Colors of the Wind (Pocahontas) vs (4) Be Prepared (The Lion King) 20-17
Scars original villain song was going to be called "Thanks to Me" and was about Scar introducing the hyenas to the lionesses after he pronounced himself king. This idea was eventually scrapped and replaced with Be Prepared. Later on, a planned reprise for Be Prepared was also scrapped, as it seemed inappropriate following the death of Mufasa in the stampede.
